Scottish Borders Business Fund
Regional Selective Assistance (RSA) is available within normal state aid limits in most of the Scottish Borders. RSA in the Borders is focused on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and is delivered under the EU block exemption regulation for regional aid and SMEs.

This is open to SMEs located in or looking to locate in the Scottish Borders. Eligible companies can apply for loans between £5,000 and £50,000 on beneficial terms to support projects where there are clear economic benefits for the area.

Tweed Renaissance Investors Capital (TRI Cap) is one of Scotland’s newer business angel syndicates, and invests in growth businesses in the Scottish Borders and beyond, offering a flexible and proactive funding option along with expertise.
